I Vote For Healthy, Do YOU?

Workout4 CollageTänkte bjuda på lite tips och idéer från min vardag, vad/när/hur jag tränar, vad jag äter och hur mycket och mina mål inom träningen – som håller mig fokuserad och motiverad. 
I’m going to give you some tips and ideas from my everyday, what/when/how I exercise, what I eat and how much and my goals with my training – that keeps my focused and motivated. 

★ E X E R C I S E
– I try to workout (at the gym) 4-5 times a week. At the gym I mix it up, some days I do weight training, other days I do group exercises like Spinning, Boxing, Indoor Walking etc. 
– If it’s sunny or I don’t feel like driving to the gym, I try to move a little anyway. I like to put some more clothes on, play my music and go for a long walk. I love this especially if you need inspiration for work/school/projects, while you are out walking and looking your mind fills with new ideas and fresh air. Perfect!
! Remember: Try to mix it up, otherwise you will get tired of it. 

F O O D.
– Breakfast:
Since I am a morning person I like my breakfasts, well I love them! I always try mix it up, and most important thing: Have time. There is nothing worse than start your day with stress, and stress in combination with food usually does not end well. I always cook with eggs, either scrambled eggs, omelet, banana hotcakes or hard boiled egg. On the side I sometimes eat oatmeal, or greek yoghurt with fruits&berries. If you are in a hurry, make your own smoothie with ingredients you like, and don’t be afraid to try new versions. 
! Remember: Don’t forget to fill your stomach with lots of water. I start out with one glass of water before breakfast, and then keep drinking while I eat.

Breakfast Collage-Lunch:
Lunch is another big important meal of your day. Instead of eating a big dinner with lots of carbs, I try to eat that meal during the day instead, at lunch. Then you have more time to burn and process what you eat, compared to dinner when you usually watch TV afterwards. So, a lunch in my life can be a pasta dish, a salad with lots of healthy vegetables and chicken/salmon/shrimps. My favorite is avocado, there is so much you can do with that! 

– Dinner:
I try to eat a smaller version of dinner in the evening, usually I don’t have that big of a appetite so dinner is usually where I eat something simple and easy to make. I like salads, my favorite right now is a simple salad with mixed greens, baby tomatoes, feta cheese and balsamico. If I’m more hungry I add chicken, and/or parma ham. 
! Remember: EAT. Don’t skip meals because you want to loose weight, be true to your body and fill it with healthy ”fuel”. If you’re not that hungry, eat a smaller meal, but still give your body something! 
Easy and Light dinner can also be: Omelet, salad, protein smoothie. 

LunchDinner Collage– After-workout-snack:
This is a very important snack, if you workout in between meals you might want to think about feeding your body something before your next meal. It can be very simple, your body just needs something. (healthy + lots of protein) 
My favorite is a protein shake or some quark. Sometimes I boil an egg and eat is like that. Depending on how hungry you are, it can be a lighter/heavier meal. If you workout after work and it’s late, don’t go to bed without anything!! If it’s just a banana, its better than nothing. 

G O A L S
It’s important to have a goal when you exercise. It can be anything from being able to walk for 10 minutes longer next time, to become a body builder. It’s very individual, but you should have a goal. Try to put up smaller goals in the beginning, be realistic and true to yourself. Don’t say: In a month I wan’t to look like a super model. Well, sure maybe you will but still, be realistic and you don’t want kill yourself at the gym. 
MY goal is to feel confident and healthy when summer is here. I want to be proud of what I have accomplished with my body and not be ashamed of it. My main focus areas are thighs, butt, abs and arms.
